UT Opera Theatre presents "The Crucible"
A gripping return to Salem?s charged world of accusation and conscience, centering on John and Elizabeth Proctor?s moral stand. This operatic interpretation of Arthur Miller's timely play fuses lyrical intensity with sharp, speech-driven drama. An American classic that earned the Pulitzer Prize for Music, UTOT is thrilled to revisit this powerful work, last seen on our stage in 2009 and 2017, performed by two talented casts and an orchestra of University of Tennessee Opera Theatre students. Please note that balcony-level seating is accessible only by stairs; there is no elevator access to the balcony level. THIS IS A GENERAL ADMISSION EVENT. We reserve the right to revoke tickets sold through brokers or unauthorized third parties. If your ticket is revoked, you will not be admitted and will not receive a refund. Event date, time, and supporting acts are subject to change. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Tickets will be available approximately 24 hours before the event.
