Sashiko is a traditional Japanese form of embroidery that uses a simple running stitch and geometric patterns.

In this 3 hour workshop, participants will complete a seamless bowl, or vase of their chosen color scheme and design using a resist.

You will learn many techniques of how to use watercolor to make some cool abstract images and embellish them.

Each mini watercolor workshop is based on a different topic; most of which can be finished during the class time allotted.

We will cover the well-known and not so well-known tips for making your images more powerful and successful.

You will create a special hand painted silk scarf. You will learn how to use a liquid resist to create your design on the silk.
