The Last Dive: San Diego Premiere
Join us at the historic Balboa Theatre for the San Diego premiere of THE LAST DIVE, an award-winning documentary from Emmy-winning director Cody Sheehy and writer-producer Mark Monroe of the Academy Award-winning films The Cove and Icarus. Cody Sheehy and Terry Kennedy join us in person, alongside NRDC, Sierra Club, WILDCOAST, SSI, Warfighter Scuba, and more, for one unforgettable night by the sea. Movie Overview: Terry Kennedy's life was transformed by an unlikely friendship with Willy, a 22-foot manta ray who'd slap his wings against Kennedy's sailboat to signal their next dive. Now in his 80s, Kennedy journeys to a remote island hoping to find Willy again, and to find peace, closure, and a chance to say goodbye. The evening includes a red carpet, a healing sound bath, guided meditation, and a live Q&A with the director, cast, and special guests. The Last Dive is a cinematic experience not to be missed.
