A jazz-driven fable about Chanticleer, a trumpet-playing rooster who believes his music raises the sun each morning. When the cunning fox Reynard steals his prized trumpet, Chanticleer must outsmart the fox, reclaim his instrument and discover that true greatness comes not from pride, but from humility. This professional reading is a part of TBAAL's Broadway Division, a new theatre initiative, created by Ransom World of Entertainment, to professionally workshop and develop new works for theatrical and commercial entertainment.
