Knoxville Jazz Orchestra: Miles
The KJO celebrates the centennial of Miles Davis' birth with trumpeter Marquis Hill, one of the boldest visionaries of the modern era. Hill cut his teeth in Chicago before winning the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz competition in 2014 and becoming a presence on the global scene virtually overnight. The program will include music from across Davis' storied career, including selections from his iconic albums Miles Ahead, Sketches of Spain, and Kind of Blue. Please note that balcony-level seating is accessible only by stairs; there is no elevator access to the balcony level. We reserve the right to revoke tickets sold through brokers or unauthorized third parties. If your ticket is revoked, you will not be admitted and will not receive a refund. Event date, time, and supporting acts are subject to change. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Tickets will be available approximately 24 hour before the event.
