Ma vie de Courgette (2016)

After losing his mother, a young boy nicknamed Zucchini arrives at a childrens home expecting the worst. Instead, he slowly begins to find friendship and stability among its residents. Director Claude Barras worked closely with novelist Gilles Paris throughout production, preserving the storys emotional honesty while using a total of 54 handcrafted puppets throughout production.
