Alongside his solo work, he has remained a versatile collaborator across the indie and alternative rock scenes. He later transitioned into production, co-producing his fathers album The Moon Was Blue with Mark Nevers, as well as the 2010 tribute compilation Twistable, Turnable Man: A Tribute to Shel Silverstein. Since 2016, he has been a touring guitarist and backing vocalist for Guided by Voices.
