Since forming in Bend, Oregon in 2023, The Rusty Frets have quickly moved from a regional act to one of the Pacific Northwest's emerging reggae bands. Their original music has generated more than 231,000 Spotify streams, with three singles reaching the iTunes Reggae Top 100. Their live resume tells the story. The Rusty Frets have shared stages with Julian Marley, Afroman, Kash'd Out, Kyle Smith and Sensamotion, appeared at the Oregon and Boise Reggae Festivals, and headlined Little Woody Fest along with Bend's Summer, Fall and Winter Fests. In 2025, they joined Afroman for a performance at Hayden Homes Amphitheater during Bend WinterFest. Their 2024 single , "rdquo" -> Swervy," featuring G. Love & Special Sauce, marked another step forward for a band continuing to build its audience well beyond Oregon. With a new full length album currently in production at Somni Studios, The Rusty Frets arrive in Portland with fresh music, a full band and plenty of momentum behind them.
