Slap Dragon

Slap Dragon live at Eddie's Attic! Slap Dragon is the brainchild of bassist Scott Mulvahill and vocalist Laura Berens, who met and began writing songs together in the summer of 2023. Soul vocals and acoustic instruments played by some of Nashville's heaviest session musicians combine for a fresh, funky, and irresistibly joyful sound that is equal parts bluegrass, disco, and R&B. Slap Dragon played their first show on June 1st, 2024 to an enthusiastic crowd in Nashville, followed by a set at Bonnaroo. A recent Instagram clip of "Already Won" surpassed 260k views, and following a successful Kickstarter campaign in October 2025, the duo is set to release their debut album Mission Statement in 2026. The Purchaser/ ticket holder must bring a photo ID to will-call to check-in for the show. If you transfer your tickets to another patron, we request that they bring their photo ID.
